Royal Thai Air Force Museum

The Royal Thai Air Force Museum sits near Don Muang Airport and is largely off the beaten path for most visitors, yet it is packed with historical significance and rare antique aircraft. Established in 1952, it displays military aircraft and relics spanning the history of aviation in Thailand.

Around thirty aircraft are on show, both outdoors and inside a couple of large hangars. Standouts include the only remaining Japanese Tachigawa trainer in the world and the two-seat bomber "Paribatra," the first aircraft designed and built entirely in Thailand, dating back to April 1927.

The museum is more popular with local residents and air force families than with tourists, making it a quiet spot for aviation enthusiasts and kids who enjoy seeing real aircraft up close. If you have half a day free after your event at IMPACT and want something off the usual tourist trail, it's worth the detour.
