SCG Stadium | Home of Muangthong United, Thailand's first registered football stadium, minutes from IMPACT

SCG Stadium is the home ground of SCG Muangthong United football club, located within IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, just a few minutes' walk from IMPACT. The stadium first opened in 1998 as the Thunder Dome Sports Complex, later renamed Yamaha Stadium and then SCG Stadium as sponsorships changed. It was the first registered football stadium in Thailand and has been Muangthong United's home since 2007, with 15,000 seats around the pitch, expandable to 25,000 when ground capacity is included.

Muangthong United joined the Thai Premier League in 2009 after winning the Thai Division 1 League title in 2008, and clinched their first Thai Premier League championship in 2010. The league season runs from March to October, with most matches kicking off in the evening. Inside the stadium, the MTUTD Official Club Store is open every day, selling jerseys, scarves, caps, and posters. The MTUTD Museum & Tour, which tells the club's story since its founding in 1989, is open only on match days from 4 pm to 8 pm.

Beyond football, SCG Stadium has also hosted major concerts, including SM Town, PSY, the annual EDM festival Waterzonic since 2014, and Guns N' Roses in February 2017.
