Which Months Do IMPACT Muang Thong Thani's Annual Events Happen? Full-Year Calendar

IMPACT's events are not random, they follow a yearly cycle

If you have ever missed an event you meant to attend because you found out about it only a few days beforehand, this article should help. IMPACT Muang Thong Thani hosts events almost all year round, and among them is a group of events that repeat every year in roughly the same months. Once you know the pattern, planning 2 to 3 months ahead becomes easy, whether it is for taking leave, booking travel, or reserving a room.

This article covers only events with data showing they repeated over multiple years, from 2023 to 2026, arranged by month so you can see what is coming up at each point in the year. Some events shift by only a few days each year, while others move to a different month entirely. We will be upfront about which events you can rely on for the same timing and which ones you need to double check.

First half of the year: from wine to regional food trade shows

March to April: The Cellar Tales

This event is organized by the IMPACT Exhibition Organizer team itself. Its distinguishing feature is that it uses the BISTRO de Champagne space inside IMPACT Challenger, a smaller zone than the main halls, giving it a different atmosphere from a typical fair. It also runs for about 12 days, rather than wrapping up in 3 days like most other events.

One thing to know is that this event's schedule still shifts. In 2024 it ran from 29 November to 10 December, but The Cellar Tales 2026 has moved to 25 March to 5 April 2026. If you are interested in this event, do not rely on the same month as before; check the organizer's announcement before making plans.

Late May: THAIFEX - Anuga Asia

This is the event that takes up the most space on this list. In 2025 it ran from 27 to 31 May, using IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-3 together with IMPACT Exhibition Center Hall 5-12. THAIFEX - Anuga Asia 2026 will run from 26 to 30 May 2026 and adds IMPACT Forum Hall 4 as well.

The organizers are the Department of International Trade Promotion together with The Thai Chamber of Commerce and Koelnmesse Pte Ltd. This is a trade negotiation exhibition, not a general shopping event. If you are not in the food and beverage industry, check the visitor registration conditions with the organizer before traveling. Also keep in mind that Muang Thong Thani gets very crowded during this period, both traffic and accommodation, so book several months in advance.

June: OTOP Midyear

This is the most stable schedule among all the events. It is held at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-3 by the Community Development Department every year. In 2024 it ran from 8 to 16 June, in 2025 from 7 to 15 June, and OTOP Midyear 2026 will run from 20 to 28 June 2026, shifting slightly later in the month than before.

The event is similar in nature to OTOP City in December, bringing community products from across the country together in one hall. The difference is the timing. For those who would rather avoid the year end gift buying crowds, this midyear round is more comfortable to walk through, and it runs for 9 days, giving you time to pick a weekday to visit.

July: IMPACT Speed Fest

This is a still-new automotive event. The first edition was held in June 2025, from the 13th to the 15th, at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani 1 (Chamchuri Square), an outdoor venue. IMPACT Speed Fest 2026, the second edition, moves indoors to IMPACT Challenger Hall 2-3 and runs from 17 to 19 July 2026.

Since it has only been held twice, changing both the month and the venue, it is not yet possible to confirm a fixed schedule. The trend so far points to midyear, between June and July. The organizer is IMPACT Exhibition Organizer.

August: RESTECH

This is a technology and equipment event for restaurant businesses, organized by PenguinX. The earliest edition on record was in 2023, held on 8 to 9 December at IMPACT Exhibition Hall Hall 6, a short 2 day event. RESTECH 2026 has since been extended to 3 days, running 27 to 29 August 2026, and moved to Hall 5-6.

This event suits restaurant and cafe owners and people about to open a shop, more than casual visitors. Since the month has changed before, it is best to follow the organizer's own channels for updates.

Second half of the year: IMPACT's busiest stretch

Based on historical data, late October through the end of December is when events overlap most heavily. Some weeks have 2 to 3 major events running at the same time in different halls. As a result, parking fills up quickly and hotel rooms around Muang Thong Thani become noticeably harder to book. Anyone planning to visit during this period should decide and book earlier than usual.

Late October to early November: Baan Lae Suan Fair Living Festival

Organized by AME IMAGINATIVE CO., LTD. at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-3, this schedule is fairly stable. In 2024 it ran from 25 October to 3 November, and in 2025 from 24 October to 2 November. It always spans two months and covers 2 weekends.

It suits people who are decorating or renovating their homes, or looking for plants and decor. The advantage of the 10 day run is that you can choose to visit on a weekday, making it much more comfortable to walk through.

Mid to late November: DigiTech ASEAN Thailand & AI Connect

This technology and AI event is organized by IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. In 2024 it ran from 20 to 22 November at IMPACT Exhibition Hall Hall 6, and in 2025 from 19 to 21 November, moving to the larger Hall 7-8. The timing is fairly predictable, midweek during the third week of the month, running for 3 days. This is more of a business event than a shopping one.

Late November to early December: SILK FESTIVAL and Thaiwatsadu x BnB home Grand Sale

These two events often overlap. SILK FESTIVAL, subtitled toward sustainable development, is organized by the Community Development Department. In 2023 it ran from 30 November to 3 December, and in 2024 from 30 November to 2 December, both years at IMPACT Exhibition Hall Hall 6-7. In 2025 it shifted to 3 to 7 December at Hall 5-6 and extended to 5 days. Anyone interested in Thai silk and craft work should note this as an annual fixture.

The other event is Thaiwatsadu x BnB home Grand Sale, from CRC Thaiwatsadu Co., Ltd. In 2024 it ran from 29 November to 8 December at Hall 8, and in 2025 from 28 November to 7 December at Hall 7-8. The schedule lines up almost exactly each year. This is a sale event for home goods and construction materials, and pairs well with a visit to the Baan Lae Suan Fair earlier in the month.

Mid to late December: OTOP City

This is the year end event at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-3, also organized by the Community Development Department. In 2023 it ran from 16 to 24 December, in 2024 from 14 to 22 December, and in 2025 from 20 to 28 December, always lasting 9 days.

OTOP City is where many families buy their New Year gifts, so it gets crowded, especially on weekends and during the final 3 days. If you want a more comfortable visit and to carry home plenty of purchases, choose a weekday near the start of the event.

Choosing the right event for you

If you are coming to shop, focus on 4 events: OTOP Midyear in June, Baan Lae Suan Fair Living Festival in late October, Thaiwatsadu x BnB home Grand Sale in late November, and OTOP City in mid December. All of these are open to the general public, run for several days, and take place in large halls you can spend a full day walking through.

If you are coming for business, look at THAIFEX - Anuga Asia in late May, RESTECH in August, and DigiTech ASEAN Thailand & AI Connect in November. These 3 events are trade negotiation events, with denser content, and usually require advance registration. Set aside time for meeting business partners rather than just walking around booths.

If you want a relaxed atmosphere without much walking, The Cellar Tales in March to April and IMPACT Speed Fest in July are events that do not take long. Half a day is enough.

Accommodation, if you plan to stay long or visit for several days

Many events on this list run for 9 to 12 days, and some stay open into the evening, so staying overnight nearby makes more sense than driving back late at night. If the event you are attending is in IMPACT Challenger, such as OTOP City, OTOP Midyear, Baan Lae Suan Fair Living Festival, or THAIFEX - Anuga Asia, a convenient place to stay is Novotel Bangkok IMPACT, since it connects to IMPACT Challenger via a covered walkway, about a 3 minute walk, so you stay dry even if it rains. But if you are coming for an event or concert at IMPACT Arena and Thunder Dome, ibis Bangkok IMPACT is about a 5 minute walk from both, is more affordable, and suits a 1 to 2 night stay. During periods when several major events overlap, rooms fill up quickly, so it is a good idea to check the IMPACT event schedule first, then book your room for the confirmed dates.

How to plan ahead so you don't miss out

1. Pick the event you are interested in from the monthly table above, and note whether it falls at the beginning, middle, or end of the month.
2. Set a reminder about 2 months ahead of that period, to check the actual dates for that year.
3. For trade negotiation events, register with the organizer as soon as registration opens, since some events have visitor eligibility conditions.
4. If visiting on a weekend, arrive before opening time or in the late afternoon to avoid parking queues.
5. Book your room as soon as you confirm your travel dates, rather than waiting until close to the event, especially during May and from November through December.
