IMPACT Muang Thong Thani Parking: Which Lot Is Closest to Your Hall, and What Does It Cost

Short answer: IMPACT Muang Thong Thani has 3 indoor parking buildings (P1, P2, P3) and several outdoor lots. The indoor buildings are free for the first 30 minutes, then 40 baht for the first 3 hours and 20 baht per hour after that. If you enter between 18:00 and 24:00, the flat rate is 40 baht per car. Lots P4, P5 and Lakeside are free but open only on event days. Most parking closes at 24:00 and overtime charges start at 01:00. The key to parking here is to choose a lot on the same side as the hall you are going to.

Which hall, and where is the closest parking

Before you leave home, check your ticket or the organizer's announcement to see which building the event is in. In the IMPACT area, Hall 1 to 3 are IMPACT Challenger, Hall 4 is IMPACT Forum, and Hall 5 to 12 are IMPACT Exhibition Center, which stretches in a long row next to IMPACT Arena. Thunder Dome is behind IMPACT Forum.

Here is an easy way to remember the locations: P1 is inside the IMPACT Challenger building, P2 is at the IMPACT Forum building, P3 is behind Hall 5, lot P4 is behind Hall 11 to 12, lot P5 is behind Hall 7 to 8, and Aktiv Square lot is in front of IMPACT Arena. If your event is in one of the last halls, such as Hall 11 or 12, parking at lot P4 is a much shorter walk than parking on the IMPACT Arena side.

Indoor parking buildings P1, P2 and P3

• Free for the first 30 minutes
• 40 baht for the first 3 hours, then 20 baht per hour. A partial hour counts as 1 hour
• Enter between 18:00 and 24:00: flat rate of 40 baht per car
• Staying past closing time incurs an overtime charge of 100 baht per hour, counted from 01:00 until the car is taken out
• A lost parking ticket incurs a 200 baht fine. Staff will check the license plate and the photo of the driver to confirm identity

Outdoor lots

• Aktiv Square lot: free for the first 30 minutes, then a flat rate of 50 baht per car. Staying past closing time incurs an overtime charge of 100 baht per hour, starting at 01:00
• The Portal lot: free for the first 30 minutes, then 20 baht per hour. No overnight parking
• Lots P4, P5 and Lakeside: free

Parking at nearby shopping centers

• Cosmo Bazaar parking building: free for the first 2 hours, then 20 baht per hour. Spend 300 baht and show the receipt at the information counter for 2 more free hours. It is the only parking in this area that is open 24 hours
• Beehive building: free for the first 1 hour, then 20 baht per hour. Spend 500 baht for 2 more free hours. However, if you stay past 24:00 you must pay the actual parking fee plus a 1,000 baht fine, so it is not suitable for nights when a concert ends late

Motorcycle parking

• Challenger 1 building: open 06:00 to 24:00 on days with trade shows and concerts only. Capacity 680 motorcycles. Flat rate of 20 baht for smaller bikes and 40 baht for bikes of 350 CC and above
• The Portal lot: capacity 40 motorcycles, free, no overnight parking

How to drive into IMPACT

If you are coming from the city, take the Si Rat Expressway, continue onto the Udon Ratthaya Expressway, and exit at the Muang Thong Thani exit, which leads straight into the IMPACT area. When you set up your navigation, do not just type IMPACT. Type the name of the parking building you plan to use. For example, for Thunder Dome, navigate to parking building P2 or the Lakeside lot. For IMPACT Arena, navigate to the Aktiv Square lot or building P1. Each one is on a different side of the area, and if you enter on the wrong side on a busy day, looping back costs a lot of time.

On event days, a shuttle runs around the parking areas with 10 stops in total, such as in front of IMPACT Arena and Aktiv Square lot, parking building P3, lot P5, lot P4 on the ibis Bangkok IMPACT side, and Hall 12 on the Thunder Dome side. Even if you park a bit far away, you can still take the shuttle to the halls. There are also connecting walkways and moving walkways between the buildings, more than 1 kilometer in total.

Concert day parking tips

2. Arrive after 18:00 for the 40 baht flat rate. Buildings P1 to P3 charge a flat rate if you enter after 18:00, so you do not need to worry about how many hours you stay
3. Remember the closing time. Most parking closes at 24:00 and the 100 baht per hour overtime charge starts at 01:00. If you plan to keep eating after the concert, move your car or come back for it first
4. Take a photo of your floor and pillar number. Buildings P1 and P2 each hold 2,200 cars. When the event ends and it is crowded, not remembering your floor means a lot of time spent walking around looking for your car
5. Keep your parking ticket with you. A lost ticket costs a 200 baht fine and you have to wait for staff to verify your identity
6. No need to leave at the same time as everyone else. When an event ends, many cars leave the buildings at once. Sitting for a while before driving out means you will not be stuck in the parking building for long
7. If you do not want to drive home late at night, stay at a hotel within walking distance of the halls, such as Novotel Bangkok IMPACT or ibis Bangkok IMPACT

Electric vehicle charging

There are several charging stations in the area: parking building P1, beside parking building P3, the outdoor lot beside The Portal building, Beehive Lifestyle Mall opposite Exclusive Fitness, and the parking lots of Novotel Bangkok IMPACT and ibis Bangkok IMPACT. Each location has only a few chargers, so on big event days, charge enough beforehand for the trip home.
